The essentials
- Apply online through the official Pakistan Visa Portal — allow two to four weeks
- A Letter of Invitation from a licensed operator (we provide this) smooths approval
- Trekking visas in restricted zones are linked to your trekking-permit application
- Keep six months' passport validity beyond your travel dates
For restricted-zone treks such as K2 Base Camp, remember the security clearance runs 30–45 days — apply at least 60 days out. For standard tourism, processing is far quicker.
